Why?
Because Myrthland was the name of a person that immigrated from Guyana to pursue the American dream. His life cut short, he left a legacy of perseverance within his only daughter, Miki. She decided to take the best parts of him and start an outlet to pursue her dreams.
Myrthland was always bold, expressive and comfortable in his own skin and now his daughter wishes to share that with the world, infusing cultural influences from both his homeland and hers.
